Summary
Earn up to £18 per hour | Flexible, local opportunities | Part-time
Sometimes, the best kind of care isn’t about ticking boxes. It’s about slowing down, listening, and being there in the moments that matter.
At Your Care, we introduce kind, reliable carer's to people who’d like a little extra support at home.
It’s about the right match: shared values, easy conversation, and genuine trust from the start.
What the role involves
As a self-employed carer, you’ll be matched with adults who would benefit from friendly, unhurried support at home.
Each person is different, but your days might include:
Companionship and conversation
Help with cooking, light household tasks, and gentle routines
Personal care, if needed, always with respect and warmth
Medication reminders and encouragement
Getting out and about for errands, appointments, or a change of scenery
You’ll be working locally across East Bristol, including Keynsham, Kingswood, Longwell Green, Hanham, Fishponds and Downend.
Who we’d love to hear from
You don’t need years of experience, just a calm, caring approach and the ability to make someone feel at ease in their own home.
If you’re someone who is:
Compassionate, patient and dependable
Happy working on your own and using initiative
A good listener who enjoys real connection
A car driver with access to a vehicle
…then you may be just who we’re looking for.
What’s on offer
Self-employed flexibility to choose your clients, hours, and workload
Up to £18 per hour with fair rates agreed directly with clients
Unhurried visits starting from one hour
Local introductions to build steady, longer-term relationships
Freedom to grow and take on more hours when it suits you
Why Your Care?
We’re a small team with a big belief: care should never be rushed.
Our role is to connect caring people with those who need support at home, thoughtfully and personally.
You’ll work independently, but never alone. We’ll be here quietly in the background, offering guidance and helping with introductions whenever you need us.
Your Care acts purely as an introductory service. All carers are self-employed. You’ll be responsible for managing your own tax, insurance and pension contribution.
Interested?
If you’re looking for flexible, meaningful work that lets you bring calm, kindness and consistency into someone’s day, we’d love to hear from you.
Even if you’re just curious, we’re happy to have an informal chat so you can find out more.
