Personal Assistant, Nottingham NG4, Weekly Salary: £2,170.56 pw, NOTDL1911
This position is supporting a male in the NG4 area of NOTTINGHAM
The role consists of supporting a male wheelchair user with a spinal cord injury living in his own home near Nottingham. He has a vacancy for a live in Personal Assistant to work on a rotation of 14 days on and 14 days off. There may be times when you can go home for a break and be on call if you live close by. Personal care routine, household tasks, food/drinks preparation and to support him in his varied day to day lifestyle.
The ideal candidate will be positive, caring, able to use own initiative and learn routines quickly. Must be able to handle the physical skills of lifting, handling, pushing and bending. Experience of care work would be beneficial but full training will be given. You will need to be a confident, competent automatic vehicle driver in order to drive an adapted vehicle on a daily basis.
Applicant must be a non-smoker. This is a permanent contract.
Working Hours
Approximately 14 days on 14 days off (this will vary slightly to fit in with other team members and holidays etc)
