Summary

This post represents an exciting opportunity to join a team of staff in Keele University’s Faculty of Business, Law, Humanities and Social Sciences.

The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering engaging and academically rigorous modules to students studying remotely on our suite of MA Education and MSc Management Degrees.

Duties will include the provision of structured teaching support, assessment responsibilities. You’ll apply innovative teaching methods and ensure that online modules are delivered in alignment with curriculum objectives, including providing dissertation and project supervision, marking and assessing student work and will provide constructive and timely feedback.

You’ll promote inclusivity, supporting learners from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines. With a proactive approach, you’ll monitor student engagement and performance and will respond to students queries and requests for advice.

You’ll undertake a range of administrative responsibilities in support of the programmes, attend meetings and contribute to QA processes, ensuring compliance with University standards and procedures.

You will have experience of delivering online teaching in a Higher Education context, including contributing to the development of materials, assessment of student work and provision of feedback.

A range of full and part-time opportunities are available and preferences regarding working hours will be discussed with candidates at interview. Postholders will work remotely, however there may be an occasional requirement to attend campus.
