Summary
Core Responsibilities
1. Access Control & Surveillance
o Operate X-ray scanners (e.g., CEIA PD6500) and metal detectors to inspect personnel/vehicles entering warehouse premises.
o Monitor 24/7 CCTV systems and report suspicious activities to local police via SIA-approved protocols.
o Validate staff credentials using digital systems (e.g., TrackTik) and manage visitor logs per GDPR guidelines.
2. Asset Protection & Risk Mitigation
o Conduct hourly patrols to inspect fire exits, hazardous material storage, and electrical safety compliance (Fire Safety Order 2005).
o Implement anti-theft measures for high-value goods (e.g., securing lithium batteries in UN 3480-certified containers).
o Coordinate with logistics teams to enforce dock safety during loading/unloading (ISO 28405 compliance).
3. Incident Response
o Execute emergency protocols for fire, terrorism, or medical events (certified in First Aid at Work and ACT Awareness).
o Document incidents via digital reporting tools (e.g., Petra) and preserve evidence for police investigations.
