Summary

Job Title: Key Stage 2 SEN Teacher

About the school:
A specialist SEN provision supporting children and young people with Autism and related needs. Small classes, strong pastoral support, and a highly collaborative team environment. Due to the location, access to own transport is preferred.

About the role:
Teaching a small KS2 class of 4 to 6 pupils with ASD and associated needs. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, adapt learning to EHCP requirements, and work closely with parents, carers and the wider team to support pupil progress and wellbeing.

Were looking for a dedicated candidate to:
Teach a class with varied learning needs, use effective assessment strategies, maintain positive behaviour approaches, and help improve long term outcomes for pupils.

Requirements -
Enhanced Child or Child and Adult Workforce DBS on the Update Service is essential.

The ideal candidate would have:
- Previous KS1 or KS2 teaching experience
- Strong SEN experience, particularly with Autism
- Ability to plan high quality, engaging lessons
- Confidence in managing challenging behaviour
- Experience using positive behaviour strategies
- Calm, patient approach and adaptability
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
