Summary

Our client, a reputable educational institution located in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating the learning and development of students, working closely with teachers and other staff members to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with teachers to plan and deliver lessons that align with the curriculum and cater to the diverse needs of students
- Providing individualised support to students with special educational needs or those requiring additional assistance
- Assessing student progress and providing timely feedback to teachers and parents
- Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, achievement, and behaviour
- Assisting in the preparation and organisation of educational materials and resources
- Supervising students during breaks, lunchtimes, and on school trips or extracurricular activities
- Contributing to the creation of a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment

To be considered for this position, you should possess:
- A relevant Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g. , HLTA status, Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training, or equivalent)
- Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within an educational setting
- Excellent understanding of the UK curriculum and assessment methods
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Proficiency in using educational technology and software
- A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in the classroom
- An enhanced DBS check and references from previous employers
