Summary

About the Role

We are seeking an organised, motivated and proactive Brokerage Co-ordinator to join our Brokerage & Commissioning Team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring that care and support packages are commissioned efficiently, effectively, and in line with the needs of Bexley residents.

You will provide essential administrative and coordination support to the Brokerage service, helping to source, arrange, and monitor care placements and support packages. Working closely with social workers, providers, and finance colleagues, you’ll contribute to the smooth and timely delivery of high-quality services that make a real difference to people’s lives.

Temporary, 6 months (with potential to extend)

About You

You’ll bring strong organisational and customer service skills, along with a flexible and professional approach. You will be confident using IT systems and have good attention to detail, particularly when working with data and financial information.

We are looking for someone who has:

General office and clerical experience
Experience of working with the public and delivering good customer care
Good written and verbal communication skills, including telephone manner
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, databases and email/diary systems
Strong numeric, organisational and prioritisation skills
The ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
A tactful and confidential approach when dealing with sensitive information
An interest or background in social care (desirable)
You may occasionally be required to work across the Borough to meet service needs.

The Brokerage & Commissioning Team plays a key role in ensuring residents receive timely and appropriate support. We work collaboratively with internal colleagues, providers and partners to deliver value for money and person-centred care arrangements.

Appointment to this post will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
