The Role
North Devon Homes is seeking a proactive and highly organized Commercial Coordinator to join our Development and Regeneration team. This is a pivotal role supporting the disposal process of land and property, managing commercial assets, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations. You will play a key part in supporting commercial activities, maintaining accurate records, and providing effective support to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
Provide support throughout the legal process for the disposal of approved property, liaising with solicitors, estate agents, purchasers, and internal teams, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
Support the management and administration of leasehold and commercial assets, including advertising vacant properties, income collection, handling queries and permission requests, generating annual statements, and managing agreement terminations/extensions.
Respond to enquiries from internal teams, advising on boundary, easement, and other legal matters.
Support commercial activities within the North Devon Homes Group, including administration of leasehold, shared ownership, and commercial assets, as well as income-generating assets.
About You
You will have excellent communication skills both orally and in writing with a wide range of audiences.
You will work well in a team environment, under pressure, prioritise workload and meet deadlines
You will be comfortable working independently and be supportive of others.
You will enjoy developing effective relationships and communicating with others.
You will have good IT Skills; including the use of standard word-processing, spreadsheets and messaging software such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and databases or the desire and skill set to learn.
