Summary
Morgan Hunt currently requires an Estate Caretaker for a Tenant Management Organisation based in East London
Pay Rate: £18ph Ltd
Hours: 37 hrs 8am to 16:00pm Mon to Fri
Location: East London
Duration 6 months on going contract
Full clean driving licence required as may need to be required use company bulk van
Job Responsibilities
Typical duties for an estate caretaker in a TMO or similar housing environment include:
• Minor Repairs and Maintenance: Performing day-to-day fixes like basic plumbing, joinery, and minor decorating.
• Cleaning and Groundskeeping: Keeping communal areas, pathways, and gardens tidy, including removing litter and bulky items (fly-tipping).
• Safety and Compliance: Conducting regular site inspections, risk assessments, and fire safety checks to ensure the estate complies with all health and safety regulations.
• Security: Assisting with site security, which can include opening and locking buildings, and ensuring alarm systems are functional.
• Customer Service: Providing a positive, face-to-face service to tenants, addressing concerns and coordinating with external contractors for major works.
