Summary
We are seeking a passionate Nursery Assistant to join our Baby Room team working a Monday and Friday between the hours of 7:45am and 6pm. This role is vital in supporting the development and well-being of our young learners, contributing to our mission of providing exceptional childcare.
Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities that promote children's development.
Provide a safe, nurturing environment for children aged 6 months to 4 years.
Support children’s emotional and social development through positive interactions.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and needs.
Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive atmosphere for all children.
Observe and assess children's development
Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Minimum Level 3 Child care qualification
Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting.
Strong understanding of the EYFS
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications in childcare or early childhood education are preferred.
