Summary
We’re looking for reliable and customer-focused Van Drivers to join our team in Brigg, delivering bespoke endurance doors across the UK. This role involves manual handling of doors averaging 55kg, with tail lifts and trollies provided for safe unloading.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver with Care: Perform multi-drop deliveries of bespoke endurance doors nationwide.
Safe Handling: Load and unload doors using provided equipment and follow safety procedures.
Stay Flexible: Occasional overnight stays (maximum 2 nights per week, accommodation provided).
Customer Service: Maintain a professional, customer-facing approach at all times.
Communication: Report delivery issues or customer queries promptly to management.
Requirements
Full UK Driving Licence – ideally held for at least 24 months.
Physically Fit – comfortable with manual handling tasks.
IT Literate – able to use basic delivery tracking systems and communicate effectively.
Strong Communication Skills – with a customer-focused mindset.
The position is long term with the opportunity of going permanent.
This is a role with early starts between 04:00am and 06:00am.
You will average a 45- 50-hour week. Any hours over 40 will be paid at time and a half.
You will be doing up to 2 nights out per week which is paid at £25 per night with accommodation provided.
The hourly rate starts at £12.70 rising to £13.50 after 12 weeks worked. Overtime is paid at time and a half for all hours over 40 per week.
You will accrue up to 28 days holiday per year.
