Summary


In your role as a Lithotripsy PractitionerRadiographeryou wouldbe responsible forperformingExtracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL)procedures,utilizingx-ray or ultrasound guidance to treat kidney stones, providing clinical guidance tocolleaguesandcoordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.In addition to clinical duties, the role includes managing the lithotripsy unit foroptimalefficiency and quality of service,provide consultancy to other practitioners and cliniciansand providing leadership and guidance to a Lithotripsy Practitioner Radiographer within the unit.You would providetraining and educationwhilstboth leadingandparticipatinginclinicalaudit and research.You would work alongside the current teamin theorganisationand continue thedevelopment of theESWLservice.
