McGinley Support Services is currently recruiting for 1 x Slinger/Signaller to join a major infrastructure project in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and safety-conscious professional to contribute to a high-performing team on a busy construction site.

Role Details:

We are looking for a Slinger/Signaller with a valid CPCS Slinger Card A40A, Banksman Certificate, and an up-to-date Safety Critical Medical. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding lifting operations, ensuring safe load movement, and maintaining clear communication with crane operators and site teams.

✅ Requirements:
  • CPCS Slinger/Signaller A40A card

  • Banksman certificate

  • Safety Critical Medical (valid and in date)

  • Previous experience as a Slinger/Signaller on civil or infrastructure projects

  • Strong understanding of site safety and lifting protocols

Responsibilities:
  • Operate as a Slinger/Signaller to direct lifting operations safely and efficiently

  • Use correct hand signals and radio communication to guide crane movements

  • Monitor site conditions and ensure lifting zones are clear and secure

  • Support general site activities when not engaged in slinging duties
