McGinley Support Services is currently looking for 1 x Banksman with a valid Slinger ticket to join a busy construction site in Birmingham (B36 9DP). This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and safety-conscious Banksman to work on a high-profile infrastructure project.

Role Overview:

As a Banksman, you will be responsible for directing vehicle and plant movement on site, ensuring the safety of operatives and machinery. You will also support lifting operations as required, using your slinger certification to assist with load handling and crane guidance.

✅ Requirements:
  • Valid Banksman certification

  • Slinger ticket (CPCS or equivalent)

  • Previous experience working as a Banksman on construction or civil engineering projects

  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to site safety

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a Banksman to guide vehicles and plant safely around site

  • Support lifting operations using your slinger ticket when required

  • Maintain clear communication with drivers, crane operators, and site teams

  • Ensure all movements are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations
