Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 early years qualification
- Experience with children aged 0-5 (placements or employment)
- Understanding of the EYFS
- Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
- A caring, reliable and proactive approach
About the Role
You will work within a consistent room team to support children aged 0-5, contributing to a nurturing, stimulating and well-organised learning environment. This role offers stability, career progression and the opportunity to play a meaningful part in children's early development.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging activities in line with the EYFS
- Building strong, positive relationships with children, staff and parents
- Assisting with observations, progress notes and key person responsibilities (training provided if needed)
- Encouraging independence, communication and early social skills
- Ensuring children are safe, included and supported emotionally
- Supporting feeding, toileting, nappy changing, sleep routines and daily care
- Maintaining a clean, organised and stimulating classroom environment
- Adhering to all safeguarding and health and safety procedures
