We're looking for a Catering Assistant who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules.
Hourly Rate of Pay: £12.21 Monday to Wednesday and £13.21 on Saturday and Sunday Position Type: Permanent Type of Employment: Full TimeTotal Weekly Contractual Hours: 37.5Location: CHP-Finchley Memorial Hospital, Granville Road, London, Greater London, England, N12 0JE
Role Responsibilities:
-Prepare and maintain dining and service areas, including furniture, trolleys, and cleaning equipment.
-Serve food in correct portions and wash dishes, cutlery, and catering equipment.
-Clean all catering areas daily and follow health and safety standards.
-Maintain temperature records and procedures.
-Communicate effectively with patients managers, and colleagues to deliver excellent service.
-Collect menus from patients following food safety procdures
-Deliver a tea trolley to patients
-Assist in the kitchen with sandwich and salad making
What we're looking for:
-Previous catering experience in a similar environment (desirable).
-Basic Food Hygiene and Health & Safety certificates (training provided if not held).
-Adequate numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.
-Passion for customer service and ability to work independently and in a team.
-Adaptable, detail-oriented, and confident with strong organisational and time management skills.
