As a Catering Assistant with ISS UK, you will be at the heart of the operation, playing a key role in preparing and serving food while maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and safety.

The Role

Assist as directed with all aspects of food service preparation and presentation

Serve customers in an appropriate and professional manner

Lead and provide food and beverages at service counters, ensuring sufficient supplies throughout service periods

Take payments at cash desks, ensure accurate pricing, and reconcile cash takings where required

Ensure meals and services comply with agreed budgetary standards and costs

Maintain clean and adequately stocked restaurant tables and service areas during service times, replenishing as needed

Keep the immediate working area clean and tidy at all times

Carry out all cleaning tasks for equipment, walls, fixtures, fittings, pots, pans, cutlery, and glassware according to cleaning rotas or as directed

About You

Enthusiastic approach to work

Catering experience is preferred - but a positive, can-do attitude is essential

Good understanding of the principals of food hygiene

You can follow instructions but are not scared to make your own decisions for what's best for the customer

Making sure the customer come first, ensuring their experience is an exceptional one one
