Are you a retail team member looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a talented team member to join our growing team.
Company Overview:
Rebuild with Hope is a charitable organisation established to support individuals with multiple barriers to employment, whilst supporting those suffering due to the rising cost of living.
The charity currently has five stores with our flagship store in Wigan. These stores sell high street brands with discounts of up to 70% across all categories, homewares, clothing, gifts, toys, and accessories.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Seasonal Sales Assistants to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers.
Role Overview
We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable Christmas Temporary Retail Assistants to join our team during the busy festive season. You’ll help create a warm and welcoming shopping experience for customers, support the team with stock and displays, and contribute to the smooth running of the store.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to support a charity making a real difference in the community.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide friendly and professional service to all customers.
• Support with sorting, pricing, and replenishing stock.
• Maintain an attractive and organised shop floor and window display.
• Operate the till and handle transactions accurately.
• Assist with preparing the store for the Christmas period, including merchandising and festive promotions.
• Work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and trainees.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety and safeguarding policies.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work in a busy retail environment.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Rebuild with Hope.
Desirable:
• Previous experience in retail or customer service.
• Experience working in a charity shop or community-based role.
