Summary
Prospero Teaching is recruiting Early Years Teaching Assistants to join a supportive and inspiring Primary School in North Tyneside. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about early childhood education to make a lasting impact on young learners in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to pupils in EYFS, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, and PMLD.
- Work on a 1:1 basis and with small groups to deliver interventions that boost learning and development.
- Collaborate with Class Teachers to adapt teaching strategies for different learning styles.
- Assist during breaktimes and lunchtimes to maintain a safe and positive environment.
- Located in North Tyneside
- Strong leadership team and a collaborative, supportive culture.
- Committed to providing high-quality education and care for pupils in EYFS.
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Full-time, Temporary until July 2026
Pay: £88-£110 per day
Hours: 08:30-15:30
Location: North Tyneside
- Desirable: Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Childcare.
- Previous experience working with children in UK schools.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Resilient, proactive, and enthusiastic approach.
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
- Two professional references covering the last two years.
