Summary

Our client, a highly respected educational institution in Leeds, West Yorkshire, is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their dynamic team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of £120 to £135 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.

As an HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching staff and contributing to the overall success of our client's educational programme. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons across various subjects
- Providing one-on-one support to students with special educational needs or those requiring additional assistance
- Assessing student progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents
- Supervising students during breaks, lunchtimes, and on educational trips
- Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and resources
- Maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment

To be considered for this position, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- HLTA status or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience working as an HLTA or in a similar role within an educational setting
- Excellent understanding of the national curriculum and current teaching methodologies
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in using technology to support learning
- A genuine passion for working with children and promoting their educational development
