Location: Rubery - Easily accessible from Longbridge, Northfield, Rednal, and South Birmingham
Day Rate: £110 - 120
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm

Long Term Futures are seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Rubery. This role involves providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with special educational needs, including SEMH, ASC, and behavioural needs, across KS3 and KS4. It's an ideal role for someone confident, patient, and experienced in supporting pupils who require additional help to access their education.

Your Role:
* Deliver effective 1:1 and small-group support for SEND pupils
* Assist students in accessing lessons using personalised strategies
* Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and independence
* Work closely with teachers and the pastoral team to deliver interventions
* Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and classroom routines

We're Looking For:
* Experience as a teaching assistant, teacher assistant, or SEN teaching assistant
* Confidence supporting KS3/KS4 pupils with behavioural or learning needs
* Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Genuine passion for inclusive education and pupil development
