Summary
Behaviour Mentors - Swinton:
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking experienced behaviour mentors to join an alternative provision in the Swinton area. You will be supporting pupils aged 11-18 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils with SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis, building strong, trusting relationships
- Working collaboratively with teachers, SLT and external agencies to ensure pupils are best supported
- Adapting learning material to encourage re-engagement during lessons
Position Details:
- Position: Behaviour Mentor
- Location: Manchester (M27)
- Type of Work: Temporary, Long-Term
- Full Time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £95 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: 26/11/2025
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- A Full UK driving license is highly desired
- Team Teach training is highly desired
- Previous experience supporting SEMH and challenging behaviour in a similar setting
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
