Our Lady and St Chad Catholic Academy are looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic Teacher of English to join our team.

The English Department are a dedicated, aspirational and forward-thinking team of nine teachers. English is taught in a suite of newly refurbished rooms, all with interactive whiteboards and access to laptops. English is a successful, vibrant subject which maintains good results at KS4 and KS5. A Level English Literature is a popular choice, and students' studies at all levels are enhanced by educational visits, which have recently included the RSC and Shakespeare's birthplace.

This post is suitable for applicants seeking an opportunity to develop their career and raise the profile of English at Our Lady and St Chad Catholic Academy, driving forward achievement for 21st century learners. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach English from KS3 to KS5.

The Academy is part of St Francis and St Clare Catholic Multi Academy Trust, providing quality education for children aged 3-18, and is a lead provider for the Initial Teacher Training Programme with Ambition Institute.
