Children’s Support Worker – Swadlincote
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
We are looking for a Children’s Support Worker to join our friendly team in Swadlincote. This is a rewarding role supporting children and young people to develop confidence, independence, and life skills in home and community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care and emotional support to children and young people.
Follow and contribute to individual support and care plans.
Encourage participation in learning, play, and social activities.
Record progress accurately using IT systems.
Work closely with families, schools, and professionals to ensure consistent care.
Drive to activities, appointments, and outings when required.
Requirements:
Experience working with children or young people (essential).
Knowledge of safeguarding and child development (desirable).
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Confident using computers for record keeping.
Driving licence and access to a car preferred.
