• Established a structure of working groups and projects to inform and drive change from 'the ground up'

• Encouraging and supporting practitioners to develop areas of special interest

• Supporting newly qualified Occupational Therapists through their first year in practice and supporting level 1 Occupational Therapist's through their progression to level 2

• Supporting our Occupational Therapists in their role as practice placement educators

• Developing peer support groups and a training and education programme for our workforce

About our team

We require registered Occupational Therapists to work in Adult Care within one of the locality Occupational Therapy teams. Our locality teams consist of an OT Lead Practitioner, Advanced Practitioners, Occupational Therapists and Community Care Officers. Team members undertake functional assessments (including moving and handling), provide equipment and recommend environmental adaptations, using a strength-based approach to support individuals to meet their outcomes and to maximise their independence.

We are looking for someone who wants to use their skills and knowledge in a creative and innovative way. If this sounds like you, then you may be just the person we are looking for and we would love to hear from you.
