Summary

Joining our Adults’ and Children’s Services Transformation Team, as a Project Manager, you'll lead and deliver high-profile transformational programmes and initiatives that improve services and outcomes for our communities. Our Project Managers may be assigned to lead any workstream, project, or programme identified as a priority by the directorate or wider organisation.

What you’ll do:
• Lead and manage strategic projects and programmes across the directorate, delivering structured change using recognised project management methodologies.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support workstream leads and maintain robust project controls, including RAID logs, resource tracking, and cost monitoring.
• Prepare and lead project boards and team meetings, producing high-quality reports and presentations to communicate progress and outcomes.
• Develop and oversee implementation plans, including PID reviews and performance modelling.
• Collaborate with other project teams to identify dependencies, share resources, and drive efficiencies.

• Strong understanding of change management, service design, and process improvement.
• Proven project or programme delivery experience working in complex environments and managing diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to lead change and help people adapt to new ways of working.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and digital skills.
• A positive, self-motivated attitude and commitment to organisational values.
• A professional qualification in business or project management, or equivalent experience.
