Summary

Pendle Borough Council is looking for a motivated and professional Taxi Enforcement Officer to join our taxi licensing team.

You will play an important role in maintaining the safety, legality, and high standards of licensed taxi and private hire operations across Pendle.

This is a public-facing enforcement role that requires excellent communication skills, a fair approach, and the confidence to deal with challenging situations.

Working both independently and as part of a small team, you will help ensure that all licensed drivers, vehicles, and operators comply with relevant legislation, licence conditions, and council policies.

Pendle is in Lancashire’s scenic Pennines, close to the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District, and Manchester.
