The role
We're looking for a Lead Specialist Advisor to take the strategic lead on Land Management Agreements for protected sites across Wales. This role exists to ensure that national and UK policy is translated into practical, effective approaches that support sustainable land management and nature recovery including Wales' contribution to the 30 by 30 Global Biodiversity Framework target.
You'll be part of the Grants and Agreements Team, working closely with colleagues across Natural Resources Wales (NRW), Welsh Government, and external partners. You'll lead on the development of policy, programmes, and procedures, and manage complex projects that often carry a high degree of public interest and reputational impact.
Reporting to the Team Leader, you'll work flexibly from any NRW location, with opportunities to collaborate across teams. This is a high-profile role where your expertise will shape national approaches to land management and protected site delivery.
