Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
As a successful candidate you will:
• have previous experience of working in a school office or similar environment
• maintain accurate records of the school's financial matters, logging income and expenditure into the school's finance system
• process orders and invoices and manage payments received in school
• produce BACS payments to suppliers
• produce monthly bank reconciliation and VAT reports
• support the Senior Leadership Team in collating information and data for reporting purposes
• be a point of contact for the Governing Board, preparing agendas, minute committee meetings and distribute all relevant paperwork
• be well organised and experienced in all aspects of administration and capable of working on your own initiative
• Ability to monitor and prioritise work in an effective and efficient manner
• Excellent IT skills and proficient user of Office applications
• Be a team player with a good sense of humour, who has the ability to follow instructions, and consult with colleagues and other professionals in an effective way
A working knowledge of SIMS and FMS6 would be desirable, but not essential, as training will be provided.
