Summary

Property/Building Surveyor
Location: Worcestershire/Warwickshire
Salary: £50,401 - £62,295 per annum

Hours: Full time - 35 hours per week/ 70 hours over two weeks (nine-day fortnight)

The role

We are currently looking to recruit to the role of Property/Building Surveyor to join our Asset Management team here at Housing 21.

Within the role you will provide professional surveying and technical support, contributing to the smooth and efficient delivery of the Asset Management strategy.

You will help deliver Housing 21’s technical service which provides effective capital investment, cyclical, statutory maintenance services, to time and budget, in line with legislation, Housing 21 policy, capital programme and strategic objectives.

This is a mobile role where frequent travel across the area you cover will be required in order to fulfil the requirements of the role.

What we’re looking for

The requirements for the role include:

• HND or degree in a construction related subject
• Professional qualification such as RICS / CIOB
• Experience in a surveying role for a Housing Association or similar
• Experience of contract administration, site management and cost management
• Experience undertaking energy assessments
• Experience of undertaking fire risk assessments
