Summary
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Data Extraction & Management Extract, transform, and analyse data from clinical systems, commissioning datasets, and internal service databases. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with information governance standards. Analytics & Insight Provide meaningful analysis to support service delivery, contract performance monitoring, and business planning. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within population health, service utilisation, and workforce data. Translate complex datasets into clear, evidence-based insights to inform senior leadership and clinical decision-making. Contract & Bid Support Produce high-quality data analysis to support new service development, business cases, and tender submissions. Model population demand, activity forecasts, and financial implications for proposed services. Reporting & Visualisation Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Excel (and other BI tools if applicable). Use advanced formulas, pivot tables, and statistical techniques to provide clear outputs. Present data in an accessible and compelling way for clinical and non-clinical stakeholders. Collaboration Work closely with operational leads, clinical directors, and commissioners to understand data needs. Support service leads with tailored analysis to monitor KPIs and contractual obligations. Demonstrate value and outcomes to commissioners. Secure new business opportunities through robust, evidence-based bids. Drive continuous improvement across the organisation. Training & Development Fully participate in training and development, meeting any, and all, requirements of any courses funded, or part-funded by the Alliance. Engage in a programme of ongoing support and feedback to maximise the benefit of the training and development plan.
