Summary
The successful candidate must be able to work independently, demonstrate good leadership skills and be able to manage a caseload of school children with a range of health care needs. Delivery of training programs to school staff is a key part of this role. Excellent organisational skills are an essential requirement for this role to support high quality training in the schools, to ensure identified school staff have the competency and skills to meet the health interventions of children and young people in schools and to respond to emerging changes of health need. As a Band 6 nurse in our team, your role would include prioritisation and allocation of work, support and supervision of the team in your Locality working closely with your colleagues, but also across the County at times.
