Summary
Passenger Assistant (PATS Trained)
We are looking for an experienced PATS-trained Passenger Assistant to support the safe and comfortable transport of vulnerable adults and children. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in patient or community transport and be confident in assisting individuals with mobility needs, disabilities, or special requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist passengers safely on and off the vehicle, including wheelchair users and individuals with mobility challenges.
• Provide reassurance, supervision, and support throughout the journey.
• Ensure passenger safety by following PATS standards, safeguarding procedures, and company protocols.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, passengers, families, schools, and healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate journey records and report any incidents or concerns promptly.
Requirements:
• PATS (Passenger Assistant Training Scheme) certification – essential
• Experience supporting vulnerable passengers (children, adults, or SEN/SEND).
• Enhanced DBS (clean)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, patient, and compassionate attitude
• MUST SPEAK ENGLISH
