Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional individual to be appointed as the the Accreditation and Quality Manager atFinchley Memorial Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC)
This post will be based at the Finchley Memorial CDC, occasional requirement to attend other Royal Free London sites. Finchley Memorial CDC works in close collaboration with its sister site Wood Green CDC, hosted by Whittington Health NHS Trust. As the service develops there is a potential requirement for staff working at either site to cross cover.
Thepostholderisresponsiblefor:
· Monitoring adherence to the quality standards that apply tothesafeandefficientoperationoftheCDCservices.TheCDCisgoingthroughthe UKAS accreditation process and requiresa high-calibre professional to support the operational team and clinical leads in collating and demonstrating the full evidence of the high-quality standard of providedservices.
· The postholder will work closely with operational and clinical leads to measure the departments performance against UKAS BS70000 or other appropriate accreditations.
· Establishing a programme for continued improvement and ensuring the delivery of keyperformance standardsare the keycomponents of this job.
· Setting up and managing the Quality Management Framework and System. Writing and modifying SOPs for global aspects of the facility and supporting the modality leads in the creation and maintenance of their individual SOPs is part of the core duties.
· Supporting the management team in managing performance through presentation and analysis of the quality performance data. The postholder will provide quality data to relevant internal and external meetings.
· Ensuringa robust audit programme is in place across the services and ensure that accurate audit records are kept and maintained.
