Age UK Leeds is a leading local voluntary sector organisation providing high quality services to improve the health and wellbeing of older people in Leeds.

Service: Information Services

Salary: Scale 4 £24,909 pro rata

Hours: 28 hours per week ( to include Fridays)

Closing Date: 28th November 2025

At Age UK Leeds we are passionate about providing an excellent Advice and Information Services to people aged 50+. We offer free, impartial holistic advice on a wide range of issues; including money matters, applying for benefits (pension age), social care, aids and adaptations and consumer issues and energy switching.

We are now recruiting for an Advice Support Officer to assist the Operations Manager and Advice Staff to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Age UK Leeds Advice service.

This role will also work alongside the Receptionist and other administrative roles in the wider team, providing essential reception and support service at our city centre office.

This role has a varied job description and will allow the successful candidate to showcase a wide range of administrative, IT and communication skills.

Please note ability to use Microsoft programmes to a high standard is essential for this role, in particular Word and Excel.

The post is part time (up to 28 hours per week) but will be required to work Fridays.

We may consider recruiting two candidates for this role, totalling up to 28 hours per week, to ensure we meet the requirements of the service.
