Summary

A Vacancy at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Applications are invited for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Hands & Wrist Surgery. This is an exciting opportunity to gain comprehensive experience and training in Hands & Wrist Surgery at University College London Hospital.
The candidate must be post MRCS and have obtained full registration with the General Medical Council of the United Kingdom. Ideally, they should have FRCS (Tr&Orth) and should have achieved or be eligible for CCT.

UCH Fellowships are clinically based specialist posts intended to give candidates excellent hands-on experience and a wide exposure to routine and complex cases in trauma and orthopaedic surgery.
The Hand and Wrist service at UCLH is delivered by four Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons. The Hand Fellow would work with colleagues to deliver a comprehensive subspecialty/tertiary hand service in the trauma and elective settings. Trauma surgery is delivered through dedicated hand trauma lists, with specialist hand and wrist elective surgery provided at our elective orthopaedic hub on Grafton Way. We work closely with our hand therapy colleagues, hand ESP and hand dressings team.

In addition, there are ample academic, medical education and leadership opportunities which can be tailored to the needs of the Fellow. BSSH Hand Diploma candidates are supported in the unit.
