Summary

As a Sport and Exercise Therapy Clinical Skills Tutor at the University of South Wales, you will be
expected to:
• Contribute to achieving the University’s vision, underpinned by offering exceptional learning
experiences, using a scholarly approach, applied research and innovative delivery and assessment
models, and so provide an excellent student experience.
• Create interest and enthusiasm in students, inspire them to learn and be an exemplary role model.
• Promote and implement initiatives, working practices and positive working relationships that
enhance the student experience.
• Support and co-ordinate the academic provision of the BSc Sport and Exercise Therapy course.
• To manage and co-ordinate student placements and oversee the supervision of students within the
Sport and Exercise Therapy clinic.
• To undertake risk assessments for the subject area.
• Initiate and support recruitment activity for the subject area.
• Support our relationship with the Society of Sports Therapists.
• Monitor, order and maintain equipment and resources for the Sport and Exercise Therapy course.
