Summary

Join Portsmouth City Council as anApprentice Transport Delivery Assistant!
You will be part of the team that helps keep the city moving. From supporting traffic regulation orders to assisting with transport projects, you will learn how things work behind the scenes.

You will gain experience in transport delivery as well as developing your technical and administration skills. You will work with different teams to make a difference for Portsmouth residents, all while gaining a Business Administration level 3 qualification.

Who is the Person?

Regardless of your age, previous experience or qualifications (although you must be at least 16 years of age and not in full-time education), we welcome applications from those that show potential, determination and a drive to succeed.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Organised with good numerical skills.
  • A clear communicator who enjoys working with people
  • Customer-focused and keen to learn
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Office and IT systems
  • Ready to take initiative and manage tasks working to agreed timeframes.

We offer hybrid working with the expectation to attend the office 2 days a week (pro rata for part time) depending on the role and business needs.
