Summary
Here at South Thames Colleges Group, we are seeking a Business Partnerships Manager to work across the group and play a key role in developing employer and stakeholder engagement, new business development and account management of existing partners.
The role is a key part of the external facing partnerships team and requires strong working relationships and close collaboration with internal curriculum, employability, marketing and admissions teams across the Group. Supporting the Head of Partnerships in delivering on the 2024-26 STCG partnership strategy, targets and priorities, you will contribute to event organisation, recruitment of apprentices and exploring new business and tendering opportunities.
You will support the delivery of Local Skills Improvement Plans across Greater London, as directed by the Head of Partnerships and build and be part of a successful team of Partnership Coordinators and Administrators to ensure smooth administrative processes and the highest level of employer customer services.
As our Business Partnership Manager, you will understand the current business landscape, have knowledge of existing key partnership contacts within London and have knowledge and/or experience of working with external partners, employers or business communities and generating new business and income. With significant experience and evidence of track record in successful and measurable business engagement, you will have knowledge and experience of Apprenticeships and related regulation along with a track record of meeting employer apprenticeship needs and supporting apprentices through the recruitment process.
A results driven individual, you will have a positive and proactive approach to work with a track record of working collaboratively and building positive relationships across the group to support and enable the development of income generation and the group’s partnership objectives. You will have confident presentation and public speaking skills with the ability to work under pressure, be organised and meet deadlines both internal and external.
Please note that working patterns may be flexible and open to discussion. However, this is not a remote working role, you are expected to be on one of the college sites approximately 4 days out of 5 and any remote working will be agreed with your line manager.
