About the Role

Are you passionate about driving high standards of care and ensuring excellence across multiple services? We’re working with a leading national care provider seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and enhance compliance and quality across their portfolio of Care and Nursing Homes throughout the North of England and Scotland.

In this pivotal role, you’ll act as a key support to Regional and Home Managers—providing expert guidance, carrying out audits, and implementing robust improvement plans to maintain outstanding CQC and Care Inspectorate ratings.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive audits and quality reviews across care and nursing home services.
Identify areas for improvement and work closely with management teams to develop and deliver action plans.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory frameworks (CQC, Care Inspectorate, Health & Safety, etc.).
Provide ongoing training, mentoring, and guidance to Home Managers and care teams.
Support services in achieving and maintaining “Good” or “Outstanding” inspection outcomes.
Analyse performance data, identify trends, and report findings to senior leadership.
Act as a champion for best practice, continuous improvement, and person-centred care.

About You

Proven experience in a Quality, Compliance, or Regional Management role within the care home or healthcare sector.
In-depth understanding of CQC and/or Care Inspectorate regulations.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and support service improvement.
A collaborative, proactive, and organised approach.
Flexibility to travel across the North of England and Scotland as required.
Nursing qualification (RGN/RMN/RNLD) desirable but not essential.
