The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker (SSW) to join our team on a temporary assignment, covering authorised absence. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people, while working within a supportive and high-performing organisation.
As a Senior Social Worker, you will:
Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people through high-quality casework.
Undertake assessments, interventions, and practical support to families, ensuring statutory responsibilities are met.
Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to achieve the best outcomes for children.
Record and report accurately, using evidence-based information in line with statutory and organisational requirements.
Contribute to team development, reflective practice, and service reviews.
Take responsibility for your own professional growth, keeping up to date with legislation, policies, and best practice.
