Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a creative, conscientious and passionate individual to join our Marketing team at Curve, one of the UK’s leading producing theatres. The successful candidate will learn and develop new and existing skills in a thriving and fast-paced marketing team, assisting in the day-to-day administration of Curve’s press office, activity across social media channels and support with the creation and distribution of digital content.
The Press and Digital Content Trainee will play a key role in the team to support campaigns across Curve’s varied programme of produced and visiting work, assisting the Head of Press and Digital with media activity – from researching opportunities and drafting press releases to supporting with press events, interviews and more - and assisting the Marketing Team with the day-to-day management of Curve’s social media platforms, as well as creating and sharing engaging content. They will also support the delivery of new initiatives to increase and diversify our audiences and connect with local communities.
We’re looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, tenacious and organised. Whilst no professional experience is necessary, you must have excellent written and verbal communications skills, great interpersonal skills and a passion for theatre and Curve’s work. A dedicated and resilient individual who can identify opportunities and find creative solutions is essential.
