Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a reliable and experienced School Cleaner to join a welcoming team at a local school in Sidmouth. This is an ongoing, part-time position during school term time and is ideal for someone local to the area due to limited public transport.

Key Duties
  • Clean classrooms, halls, corridors, eating areas, and offices.

  • Polish and disinfect surfaces.

  • Mop floors and empty bins.

  • Clean and restock washrooms and toilets.

  • Maintain high hygiene standards throughout the school.

Requirements
  • Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a school or commercial environment.

  • Must live locally to Sidmouth or have access to transport.

  • Enhanced DBS check required (can be arranged).

  • Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.

What We Offer
  • £12.60 per hour, paid weekly.

  • 20-25 hours per week.

  • Shift options: 1pm-6pm or 2pm-6pm.

  • Term-time, Monday to Friday.

  • Start date: 24th November.
