Summary

Nursery Practitioner – Part-Time (30 Hours)


Hourly Rate: From £13.75+



If you love helping children discover the world around them, this Nursery Practitioner role offers the perfect opportunity to do just that. Working 30 hours per week within a small, Ofsted Outstanding nursery, you’ll support children as they explore age-specific rooms, natural resources and a vibrant outdoor play area. Every day brings new moments to celebrate—curiosity, confidence and early achievements—guided by a passionate and supportive team.



What We’re Looking For



  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (required).

  • Experience working in an early years or nursery setting.

  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding standards.

  • Kind, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.

  • Good communication skills and a commitment to teamwork.

  • A genuine passion for helping children learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities



  • Deliver high-quality care and learning experiences across age-specific rooms.

  • Support children’s development through play, exploration and positive interactions.

  • Maintain excellent safeguarding, hygiene and health & safety standards.

  • Build warm, professional relationships with families and colleagues.

  • Contribute to planning, observations and assessments in line with EYFS requirements.

  • Work closely with the team to create an engaging, child-centred environment.
