Summary
Job Description
Are you an experienced HR Adviser looking for your next challenge? Are you in a role where you don’t get a chance to break out of the employee relations box and deliver on a variety of work that will have long term impact on your organisation? If so, we might just have the opportunity for you; we are looking for a motivated HR Adviser to join our ambitious, award winning HR Team.
You will be working on a variety of initiatives across the full employment life cycle; from employee engagement, wellbeing, workforce planning, job evaluation, employee relations to helping us modernise the delivery of our HR services for a digital world that has people at the centre of it.
You will work in a team where your voice will be valued and you’ll be supported by people that are committed to improving the employee experience in West Dunbartonshire Council.
Having already achieved success in employee wellbeing and flexible working, we are looking to further develop our progressive people practices and need people that can work autonomously to help us achieve the vision in our ‘People First’ strategy.
As there will be a requirement to meet with front line employees, there will be travel to the West Dunbartonshire area. For the team, this can currently look like being in a Council location a few times a week and working from home the remainder of the time but you will have autonomy to manage this requirement in line with your own workload.
For an informal discussion about the role please contact Lisa MacGregor, People & Change Partner via lisa.macgregor@west-dunbarton.gov.uk to arrange.
