We are proud to partner with an independent Alternative Provision school, supporting learners aged 11-16 who thrive best outside a mainstream environment. The school provides a calm, nurturing space for young people with high-functioning behavioural needs, helping them build confidence, develop resilience, and re-engage with education.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join their dynamic team. In this role, you'll work closely with students, teachers, and therapists to promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small-group support to KS3 students, focusing on behaviour regulation and emotional wellbeing.

Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and therapists to implement consistent, school-wide behaviour strategies.

Build trusting relationships with students, using empathy and structure to encourage positive choices.

Support the development and monitoring of individual behaviour plans, liaising with parents, pastoral teams, and external professionals.

What We're Looking For

A Full UK Driving Licence and access to transport.

Ideally, a Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Education, Psychology, Health & Social Care, SEN, or Behaviour Support.
