Our client, a well-regarded educational institution in Torquay, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and forward-thinking team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and committed to helping students succeed both academically and socially.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers to provide high-quality support that enhances the learning experience for all students. Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with the preparation and delivery of engaging lessons and learning materials

Providing targeted 1:1 or small-group support to pupils who require additional assistance

Supporting pupils during class activities, breaktimes, and extracurricular sessions

Helping maintain a safe, positive, and well-organised classroom environment

Working collaboratively with teachers to meet students' individual learning needs

Contributing to the assessment and tracking of pupil progress

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and a commitment to pupil development. Requirements include:

A minimum Level 2 qualification in Education and Training (e.g. , CACHE Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning)
