Summary
Role Overview and Purpose
The central purpose of this role will be to lead the creation of audience-centric internal communications that engage employees around our strategy, in support of our purpose, fulfilling lives for all. The role will support the design and development of the SONA Communications Module, alongside the release of the HRIS, Payroll and Workforce Management functionality and features native to the product.
This role will provide senior support to the project team with regards to communications to ensure consistent language, tone and process is designed into the full set of modules for use by all colleagues across the Voyage Care community. It will lead on all aspects of project communication, from objectives to progress and how we prepare users for next steps at the right time, using the right channels.

Key Responsibilities
SONA Project Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Contribute to the development of the HR SONA Communications module, from planning through to post-launch support.
- Contribute to the work of the SONA Communications workstream and support the team involved in this work on the project.
- Provide advice and guidance, contributing to effective decision making on design and configuration, to enable the team to work at pace and achieve key milestones and deadlines.
- Develop strong stakeholder relationships with the project team, and the external supplier where appropriate, involving subject matter experts to ensure decisions, risks and issues are resolved and addressed effectively.
- Contribute to effective measurement and analysis of activity, and helping to deliver regular progress updates to the Head of Internal and External Communication and Project Management team. Highlight concerns and issues.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process to ensure the SONA Communications module meets the business needs and features are fit for purpose.
- Identify and resolve any testing and implementation issues, to ensure high-quality delivery of the system.
- Sign off configuration, data, user permissions and access etc. related to the SONA Communications module for go live.
IC responsibilities
- Take a leading role in the development and delivery of corporate communications, including the bi-weekly email newsletter.
- Contribute to effective use of a matrix of channels to achieve communication objectives of the team and organization.
- Create engaging and compelling stories to be used across our award-winning channel mix, including magazines, our intranet, social media, audio, video, blog posts, etc.
- Develop and implement engagement strategies and communication plans as part of an integrated internal communication approach.
- Provide high-level internal communications expertise, advice and support to workstreams related to our strategy.
- Proactively network internally to build trust with key internal stakeholder groups and encourage them to share content.
- Lead to the development of specific campaigns and initiatives to maximise return on investment in communications.
- Create high quality, engaging collateral using Adobe Creative Cloud and function as brand guardian for internal materials.
- Support regular reporting on key metrics to demonstrate ROI and effectiveness.
