Key Duties:
- Install underpinning software on current high-performance computing (HPC) systems and emerging Exascale platforms
- Develop, maintain and run complex modelling workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve specialist user queries
- Develop and maintain data management services
- Manage internal CMS infrastructure; including improving the CMS web presence and working with CMS group members to produce documentation and showcase recent work.
You will have:
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, FORTRAN, C, C++
- Familiarity with modern software development and software engineering practices
- A Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) with a strong numerical or computational component (or equivalent experience)
- Good problem solving skills and desire to overcome technical challenges and improve existing systems
