Summary
Therapy Team Lead Role/Job Purpose The Therapy Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the therapy team at [Bagshot Park/Kingston Rehabilitation Centre]. In this role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation therapy, guide the clinical team, and support the operational management of the service. You will deputise for the Clinical Head of Rehabilitation in their absence and work closely with senior management to drive service improvements and ensure patient care standards are met.Key Responsibilities Team Management & Leadership: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of therapists, ensuring the delivery of person-centred, evidence-based care. Coordinate and allocate tasks, ensuring the team works cohesively to meet client needs. Conduct regular therapy team meetings, goal-setting sessions, and facilitate effective communication across departments. Clinical Oversight: Manage your own caseload while overseeing the clinical caseload of your team, ensuring high-quality rehabilitation care is delivered in line with national, professional, and local standards. Act as a clinical resource for the team, providing guidance and support on complex cases. Training & Development: Lead the development of neuro-rehabilitation study days and provide specialist training to therapists, care staff, and other professionals. Ensure continuous learning and professional development for your team. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the Registered Manager and Clinical Head of Rehabilitation to review and improve services. Foster strong relationships with clinicians, stakeholders, and external partners to maintain a reputation of excellence. Service Development & Improvement: Identify areas for service improvement and implement strategies to enhance care delivery. Lead audits and contribute to quality assurance initiatives. Operational Support: Support the management team in operational tasks, including the planning of weekly therapy timetables and overseeing therapy stock levels. Ensure the efficient use of resources within the team. What Were Looking For Proven experience in leading and managing a therapy team. Strong clinical expertise in neuro-rehabilitation, ABI, and complex care needs. A passion for driving service development and improving care quality. Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills. Ability to foster teamwork and lead by example.
